A ROLLER COASTER INDEED.

"If you don't like to read, you haven't found the right book"
                       - J.K.Rowling

No one in this world is born a reader. It's a habit we all inculcate in our life journey. I have never been a person binge reading. Forget about binging, I was never a reader though. Let's say the reason why so was that I never found the book.  But the last couple of days seem to be the scenario changing one for me. As a person who always had a love towards the Thriller genre, went for 'The girl who lived' and I am here writing this post, dumbstruck.
The girl who lived by Christopher Greyson held me in the same place in the same position till I was out of pages.
Faith Winters - the only girl who survived among the five is the central character of the story. The story revolves around, trying to find the killer. At the beginning of the book, she is seen at an asylum as she is deemed crazy for what she narrated before the cops. No one believes her story. As the anniversary of the killings approach, she is released from the psychiatric hospital and eventually, she went back to the place where all the slayings took place - her hometown. There she sets out to find the killer- only to discover that she is the one being hunted.
The book ends with endless questions in the readers' mind. The novel is very alluring and the narration also marks up to the point. Filled with many plot twists but in bits and pieces. Not a solid nail-biter, but worth giving a shot, at least for those who are beginners just like me.

A mixed critique is all I could provide.
Overall a decent read.

Namratha.

NB:- Still struggling to find the right one.
