LIMERICKS.

A limerick is a humorous poem consisting of five lines. The first, second, and fifth have the same verbal rhythm . The third and fourth lines too must rhyme with each other and have the same rhythm just like as first, second and fifth lines.
Edward Lear, a British Poet is considered as the father of Limericks.
Eg:- There was once an ant from heaven
Who always loved to eat some  lemon.
One day he tried to eat it without sugar,
       Which made him feel bitter.
So he quickly switched to watermelon.
