"Please, leave me alone" she screamed. But still, he didn't stop, he kept on beating her over and over again, her head broke and blood started rolling down through her cheeks. And once the police reached the spot to arrest him, she cried, " please sir, don't arrest my son, I don't have any complaints "!.

Both the son and mother were human beings, but still, what made the son brutally disturb his mother? And how the mother forgive him so easily? Is life a long journey between human being and being humane for both of them?

For a while, think about what exactly life is and why are everyone despite being human beings not being humane.

Life can be understood as a characteristic that distinguishes physical entities that have biological process from those that do not have such functions. For instance, a person who is talking, breathing and walking. Plus, a plant with green leaves still rooted in the ground. All these can be considered as life.

But, is this only what life is? Is life all about just being alive?

For many,life is not just a simple matter of being, in every spark of life they find a purpose.

A purpose that guides them, influence their behavior, shape their goals and above all something that drives them to live, and so life is really an endless journey through different roads for different people. Indeed, life is all about the ideals we impose upon it, and what we demand of it.

As Nelson Mandela said " No one is born hating another person because of the colour of the skin, his background or his religion, for love comes naturally into human hearts than its opposite. "

Then, what made Hitler to start world war II, which resulted in the death of more than 50 million people?

Why are women's freedom restrained and rights restricted?

The constant environment degradation and the corruption in economic and political feilds!!

Similarly our regressive attitude towards disabled and LGBTQ community!. Aren't they too human beings? Its true that world is developing beyond limits, but sadly we are being a society without any social elements.

All these happens due to the misconception that the ultimate goal of life is money and muscle power. We have failed to realize that all these materialistic things are the ones that comes and goes and that the greatness of humanity is not in being human but in being humane,as Gandhiji said.

Life indeed is a test, everyone has been given free hands and potential so that he can either prove his mettle or reveal the rude, greedy, unworthy person in him. Everyone wrongly supposes that by destroying others, he will be able to step into his shoes. He ignores the fact that what awaits him is not the high and splendid positions of this world, but his own dreary grave.
